Great call this morning [“Advanced Communication Training – Part 1”]. Took lots of notes while I put you on speaker. Per our conversation a few weeks ago on persuasive marketing tools and speaking effectively I signed up a new distributor this past week and get them to attend a corporate event in our city. At the end of that meeting, the company executive asked if anyone wanted to share a product or business testimony. I stood up immediately, gave a testimonial on product and then proceeded to "close the room". My effective, persuasive communication (which I improved greatly from your CDs) not only impressed my new distributor, but I had people I didn't even know come up to me requesting my business card. When I first studied your website and read your free ebook, I intuitively knew you were correct about recruiting other network marketers to build a downline quickly and successfully. After I listened to your tape, "Power Recruiting", I immediately "cleared the decks" of all other recruiting methods and focused solely on recruiting other network marketers.
I have been using the approach for just under 11 weeks now. I just reached the "$10,000 a month" income milestone.
More importantly, a number of my downline members have embraced your methods so well that they also are seeing their recruiting efforts really pay off. I have three downline members in the top 20 recruiters in our company for this month. I have more than 12 downline members who have recruited more than 2 people in the last 2 weeks. And all of these people work their businesses part-time for an average of 2-2 1/2 hours a day. I could not stop this momentum even if I wanted to do so.
I regularly distribute MLM genealogy leads to my downline members, even to those 3-6 levels deep and more. I spend about 70% of my time working with my downline. I also hold regular team training sessions about how to call, how to leave messages, how to speak with people, how to send emails, how to follow-up, etc. This really has paid off in terms of esprit de corps, teamwork, team cohesiveness, and open communications. Everything we do revolves around recruiting other network marketers, teaching them to do the same, showing why we are different, and never-ending coaching about how to work with network marketers. And I always learn as much from my team as they learn from me, probably more.
I just wish to thank you for your advice and counsel. I also commend you for your courage and integrity in teaching people about the right way to approach this business. Thank you for not being a "sell out" like so many of the so-called "gurus" and "heavy hitters" who really do not care about all the network marketers who want to make this business work.
